RADISSON BLU

Radisson Blu, Frankfurt, Germany

We woke up at 5am on Sunday morning to head out to the airport and after one hour flight, we arrived in Frankfurt! We were going to spend one day and one night there. We had been invited for the presentation of a couple of new suites at the Radisson Blu Frankfurt Hotel, which, in collaboration with the German magazine Wohnidee and Schramm, together they had turned both hotel rooms into beautiful and cozy spaces.

You probably so the Amazing views from the Radisson Blu on our Stories. I opened my eyes at 6am on the next day and for a second it really felt like we were back in New York. Frankfurt is the only city in Germany with so many skyscrapers and of course, when you are on the 12th floor, you are able to enjoy really stunning views. Thanks to Radisson Blu for the excellent organisation, for delicious meals and for a very interesting program with included a trip and private tour at the Städel Museum to see the exhibition "In die dritte Dimension" and a guided tour around the Schramm HQ, which is about an hour away by car from Frankfurt. It turns out that mattresses can cost more than 10k euros. We got to see the whole production process and all the work behind it. Schramm is a family business and it's almost 100 years old. Their whole production is done in Germany at their huge factory. Everything is carefully hand-made.

The idea was to fly back to Berlin on Monday afternoon, but due to the strike, all flights were cancelled and it took us four hours by train to make it to Berlin, but at least we had wifi and were able to work. Those of you who have been following us for a while, know already how much we love nice interior sets and beautiful furniture, which is why we always try to choose the most beautiful hotels when traveling. We really hope that this will not be our last cooperation with Radisson Blu and that we will be able enjoy many sunrises and stunning views from our hotel rooms.
