I cannot stop wondering about the diversity of nature in California - Ocean, long sandy beaches, nature reserves, national parks, exotic plants... I think you can find everything here. During our trip we though a lot of Tenerife, because, as like California, Tenerife also has many different landscapes. Joshua Tree National Park is named after the Joshua trees, and you can see so many of them! They look so cosmic and create a feeling that you're in a completely different time...
We only spent half a day at Joshua Tree while we around the Palm Springs area. We left in the afternoon, because it was way to hot during the day - it was about +40 degrees and it was September! The park has a weekly entrance fee of $20. There are more than enough parking spaces and viewing platforms. Having a ticket for the whole week is pretty great, as it allows you to visit at different times of the day and enjoy amazing sunrises or sunsets, which are just incredibly beautiful here! Maybe it's only like this during this time of year, but September was a month with cool evenings and daily pink sunsets.
Я не перестаю удивляться разнообразию природы Калифорнии - океан, длинные песчаные пляжи, заповедники, национальные парки, экзотические растения... Мне кажется здесь можно найти все. Нам, во время поездки, Калифорния очень часто напоминала Тенерифе из-за своего разнообразия природных ландшафтов. Joshua Tree National Park назван по названию деревьев Joshua, которых здесь просто неимоверное количество. Они какие-то космические и создают чувство, будто ты попал в совершенно другой век.
В Joshua Tree мы были только пол дня, когда отдыхали в районе Palm Springs. Выехали после обеда, потому что несмотря на сентябрь, днем было очень жарко - около +40! Вход в парк платный - за неделю на машине 20$. Здесь есть парковки и смотровые площадки. Когда у тебя билет на целую неделю, сюда стоить приехать не раз, особенно, чтобы встретить рассвет или закат, которые здесь просто неимоверно красивые. В общем-то как и во всей Калифорнии. Может быть это время года такое, но целый сентябрь каждый день мы наслаждались прохладными вечерами с розовыми закатами.
